Mr Johnson,
I know that work sucks and get stressed is something easy to happen, but you should know that it can't interfere in your health. You must start a healthy routine.
Whenever you have trouble to sleep, don't get up, stay in bed. Before go to bed drink some milk or take a shower, it can help you to sleep better. Workout is a good thing and do exercises is healthy, but remember one thing: exercise just what your body can take, don't overdo it.
Your doctor is right when he says that you will get a back condition, because you must sleep more, even eight hours a day.
Get stressed can worse your health too. There are many diseases that come with the stress. So, you should relax when you arrive home because your home have to be a place to scape from the problems of work, school, etc.
Ana Paula.
Ana,
ResponderExcluiryou wrote a very clear peice of advice. This time I want to call your attention to the use of ...ing in some situation.
1) After a preposition like BEFORE, AFTER, WITHOUT, etc., the verb has to be used with ...ing. For example:
*Before* go to bed drink some milk or take a shower, it can help you to sleep better.
We must say 'Before going to bed'.
2) When the verb is the subject (sujeito) of the sentence, the verb goes with ...ing too. As in the following sentences:
*Workout* is a good thing and *do exercises* is healthy, but remember one thing: exercise just what your body can take, don't overdo it.
If you are using 'work out' as a verb, you need to write 'working out' once it is the subject. The same happens with 'do exercise' - we must say 'doing exercises' or 'exercising'(remember that 'exercise' is also a verb).
*Get* stressed can worse your health too.
3) Now something different. Is the form of 'have' correct in this sentence?
your home *have* to be a place to scape from the problems of work, school, etc.
Do you think you could edit your post and work on the points I mentioned above? I think you can take more advantage of your writing doing so.
